Virtual library of Sciences in Cuba

	As part of the Science Network, the Virtual Library of Sciences in Cuba aims at facilitating access to and management of information and relevant knowledge available in the country, particularly what concerns Science, Technology and Innovation. Content management is the responsibility of the National Library of Science and Technology (BNCT) and CITMATEL computer platform.
The virtual library uses a set of programs and software applications specially designed to create and disseminate digital document collections, either referential or full-text, that offer new ways of organizing information and publishing it in Internet or CD-ROM.
